Natural hybrid populations of dextral and sinistrat Alopia subspecies were found in the Μts. Bucegi Roumania 3. Similar hybrids were reproduced also in experimental conditions. Observations and morphological characteristios suggest thathoth dextral and sinistrat Alopia-fornis may belong to the fame species as subSPeCieS. For some closely related species, the interspecific boundaries ure re-evaluated.
