MANTER and PRITCHARD sl 960) were the fit si to suggest that Uterove viculurus SKRJABIN et GUSCHAN SKAJA. l9β4 is a synonym os ErilmturuS WOOL-COCK. l 935 indicat ing that the uteri ne vesicle, a terminal dilation of the uterus which was the basis for erecting the genus Utersi eSiculuruS, may be a transientseature. Our specimens frona the different host species, as weli as severat frona thesanae host confirm the transiency of this feature: they also confirm the synonymyof Ectenuru ς hesmali. E. Plia ce hali and L. Piarcilichthynix. All three have similarterminal reproductive structu res, but disser in arrangement of the testes and si Ze. One notabie feature seen in some of our specimens was a parallel- si ded hermaph roditic fac sinus sac) in sonae specimens frona the sanae host, a characteristic of Sequestis YAMAGUTl. l9J0. E. Synodi YAMAGUTl l9J0 and E. trachinoce licitiYAMAGUTl. l9J0 accord ing to BRAY et est. l 993b). Except for this feature, allother structu res were practi catly identi cal.
