The male genitalia os E. E.) cata visera are similar in type to tho se of the related E. As mentioned above, this species has been considered by authorsas ' Pseudolia lenia coluteiae ' untii now. we decided to preserve the manuscriptia me of PUNGELER and iis designated 'Type ' as holotype for the species whichlias long been misinterpreted, except PUNGELER who recogniZed the distinctia essos illis taxon frona E. Etymology. The speci sic name resors to the shiny forewings of the species.

Diagnosis: The new sub species resembles externalty to the nominotypical E. E. C. CatalcamPra but iis fore ing is narrower, more elongate, the ground colour is darker, with character istic bluish-greenish state-grey suffusion, the wing patieria is more indistinct. the hin dwing and the undet fides of both wings are also darker. Wingspan 2l-22 nam, tength of fore ing 45 6 nam. The male genitalia of E. E.)cata lampra cyanochlores Fig. 2 ) differ stightly frona tho se of E. The bionomics of the westem most known population of L. The species was described on the basis of the unique female holotype specimen. As a result of the new lepidopterological expeditions to Iran, further females

The description of the male genitalia and the comparison of the male genital seatures of E. Ε) orias with the closely related two species are gi Vela helow. Diagnosis. The male genitalia show the generat characters of the Siri-species group of the genus Eremolia lenia RONKAY, VARGA et FKBI N. l 995. It has been confirmed that E. oriaX RONKAY et VARGA, l993) is the Clofest relative of E. E.)

tant specific characters of E. Diagnosis. Most imponant di agnostic characters of the new subgenus are thereductive and dyssymmetri sation tendencies of the male genitalia anil also sonae distinctive characters of the female genitalia. The genitalia of the both sexes showseverat typical characters of the genus Eremolia lenia, described in RONKAY et al. l99 β). However, they can be eas ity distinguis hed frona the species of the subgenus Eremollia lena s. str. by the following characteristi cs: In the male genitalia thevery flender, S-s haped harpe and the long neat y straight aedeagus with membra- notis vesica, with the reduction of Cornuti and scobinate sui faces: in the semale
