nOCOxite IX. Howe ver the secondary gonocoxite os sternite VIII is much widerin P. jacutici S and the extension of gonocoxite IX much longer. The pupa and larva both are close to those of P. a amusi TOMUN AGA). The immatures of P. Iathue istis have not been described. but undoubted ly are of the sanae type. The pupa differs among other characters frona that of P. a timi Si hyhaVing pedes spurii A present on sternite V and a thoracic horn without any indication of an apical division and l. 2-l. 5 times as long as anal macrosetae. The foui th instar larva differs by the concave median portion of the mentum. The disse feren ces in the premandi bies mentioned in the key by STTHER and wANG sl 996 4β6) are much less pronounced than previ ousty state i. However, the premandi bieappears wider in P. jacuticuX than in P. G timuSi. Prona the above it is qui te clear that P. jcicuti HS fornas the sister species of P. tiathuc HSiX. The median projection of the superior volsella in the male and thel Ong and narrow digitis orna extension of gonocoxi te in the se male are for instance Clear and unique synapomorphi es. Ii is equat ly clear iliat the sister species of both species combined is P. G iam HSi as shown by a number of Synapomor-phi es in ali stagOS.
